Paul Sherman Burroughs

Paul Sherman Burroughs, age 61, was born on April 23, 1962, and exchanged this life for eternity on July 16, 2023, at Advent Health Care Hospital.

Paul was born to the union of Vertice and Vera Kirksey Burroughs. He is preceded in death by both parents and brother, Aaron Burroughs. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Orange Hill Baptist Church. He also was one of the youngest Reverends in the state of Alabama, at the age of 12 years old. He graduated from Clarke County High School in 1980. Continued with his education by attending the University of St Paul Minnesota where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication/Music. After graduation, Paul entered the United States Marine Corps May 19, 1986, and was Honorably discharged Oct 15, 1993, where he spent over six years. From Oct 15, 1993, to present, Paul continued to serve the Lord with his music and ministry until the Lord called him home.

Paul leaves to cherish his memories, The supportive love of his son Paul Burroughs Jr, brothers and sister, Maverick & Ernestine Burroughs, Marion & Linda Burroughs, Gerald & Cheryl Burroughs, Cora & Michael Myers, and Frederick Barnett. Barry Lollar (Uncle), Nieces, Nephews, and a host of extended relatives and friends.
