Peggy C. Warren , 91, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on December 23, 2022. She was born on July 29, 1931 in Parr, South Carolina, to the late Mrs. Toye (nee: Fulmer) Chapman and Mr. Lewie Milton Chapman. Peggy graduated from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, in 1953 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music and Education. She worked as a music teacher in the State of Virginia school system until June of 1958. While working in Norfolk, Virginia, she met her husband, Earl Clinghman Warren and they were married on December 29, 1956. They moved to Orlando, Florida, in 1959 and started a family. Peggy was a longtime member of the First United Methodist church in downtown, Orlando, where they met lifelong friends. Peggy is predeceased by her husband, Earl Clinghman Warren in 2020, and her two brothers, Gerald and Carroll Chapman. Peggy is survived by her children, Margaret “Midge” Hudson (Dave) and Scott Warren. Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Tuesday January 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. (142 E Jackson St, Orlando, FL 32801) with a burial to take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando, Florida immediately following the service.
