I have worked around and with Richard for many years serving the food industry.  Been to a few of the Dairy conventions with him.  What a fine gentlemen and will be missed.  My prayers to the family in this  loss.

I knew Richard when he was a young teenager.  My best friend growing up was his sister, Sharon.  They lived next door to me.  He was a very kind young man who always made me feel welcome in their home when I would visit Sharon.  I saw that they shared a brother and sister friendship that was so wonderful.  I am sorry to hear about his passing even though my memories of Richard was so long ago.  I still remember what a kind young man he was and I know how much he will be missed by all who knew him.

Richard was one of the smartest guys I ever met. (I was amazed when I saw him answer the majority of the questions on Jeopardy). It was a pleasure to know him. May God bless him and his family.

I'm so saddened to hear of RIchards passing. I met RIchard when he and Sharon moved to Memphis. He was 14 and wore wheat jeans and a mischievous grin. Through Sharon I've heard of his accomplishments and of his family. My deepest sympathies to the family and my friend SHaron.

As everyone else, we were shocked to hear about the news.  Although we saw Richard only a few times we have always felt close to him as family.   We are sorry that we could't be there to give you support in these tough times, but please know that our thoughts and prayers we are with you.

It was very sad to hear the news of Richard's passing.  It's been many years since I last saw him but he was fondly remembered.  My deepest sympathy goes out to Gail and his children and everyone who loved him.  Seeing the photos posted here make me think that he enjoyed life to the fullest and enriched the lives of his family greatly.  It's my wish that the happy memories will help to ease thier pain.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Richard's passing.  He was a kind and caring person, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  I will miss his advise and guidance. This comes as devastating news. Richard performed a heroic service for us in the days after the crash in which we lost Katie and Elizabeth was horrifically brain-injured. He went to the junk yard where Debbie's car had been towed to retrieve the girls' person effects -- simple things: backpacks, dance gear and other things.
I was going to go, but when Richard returned he sat me down and said simply, "You don't need to see what I saw. Ever. Don't go." It was a special kindness at a traumatic time by a classmate I hadn't seen in years, but it spoke to the sort of man he was, what sort of good soul he had. Godspeed.

We were so saddened to hear of Richard's passing.  He was a special man and we are grateful to have had him as our neighbor.  Our sympathy goes out to the family at this sad time.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
