Robert Harriss Sr.

Robert married Ines Louise Klump on July 2, 1948 in York, South Carolina after proudly serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Robert and Ines moved to Orlando in 1954 where they raised their four children; Julie, Bobby, Bart and Brad Harriss. Robert retired as a Lithographer in 1980 and went to work for his son, Bobby Harriss, helping to manage and operate Harriss Pools, Inc. He was devoted to his family and faith, an avid golfer and diligent “wood worker“ for wife Ines.

He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Orlando, Florida for almost 50 years. He is survived by Wife Ines, Daughter Julie Kimble, Sons Bart and Brad Harriss, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Robert V. Harriss, Jr. (Bobby) in 2007.

Robert will be greatly missed by his many Family members and friends. A funeral service and celebration of life will be scheduled in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Samaritans Purse at samaritanspurse.org .
