

Jane Price passed on June 13, 2013 at 7 p.m. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, moved to Florida in 1952. Her two daughters, Sheila and Cris and son-in-law Mark were by her side. She has five grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Siblings are Ronald Trowbridge, brother, and Grace Grimes, her sister and Brother-in-law Billy Price.
She considered herself a lifetime student, She started taking classes in 1989. Her first class was at Seminole Community College in Pat Brennan's Drapery and Window Treatment Class. Took classes for several years. Many close friends were made during this time including her instructor. She, plus many of her friends, started attending Anne Dunson's Sewing Class in 1992 in Winter Park where Jane made several more dear friends. The class moved to Oviedo Methodist Church and started charity sewing. Jane found her true passion and calling. Charity work for BETA making thousands of baby items. But her true love was sewing for SEW MUCH COMFORT, adapting clothing for wounded soldiers. She continued to enjoy her sewing projects up until three months prior to her passing.
She enjoyed traveling, especially in the fall with her daughter and sister.
Jane touched several peoples lives and made friends for life. Everyone who knew her and loved her will miss her dearly. A bright spark left this earth when she left us behind.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29 at the Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, 32806 (407) 898.2561
