Vera Louise Thompson (nee Ramey), 96, of St. Cloud, Florida passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2020. She was born in Somerville, Alabama. Vera’s family moved from Alabama to St. Cloud in 1927 when she was 4 years old. She spent most of her life in Florida with a short stay in Tuscumbia Al. She held various jobs but was best remembered for working at Boone Bait in Orlando and as a meat wrapper at Publix Supermarket. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, raising cattle and sheep.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Marion Thomas in 1983 and her second husband William E. ‘Bill’ Thompson in 1995.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Barbara Keenum of St Cloud, and her son, Wayne Thomas of Melbourne, Florida and their families. She had 6 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
