She was born in Coatesville, PA on February 12, 1944. Veronica graduated from Scott Sr. High School attended Lincoln University.
She married John H. Bufford, Jr. on October 25, 1963.
Veronica had a career in Finance for Navy Federal Credit Union. She was a member of The Shy-Lites Social Club and had a passion for crafting, creating unique gifts and greeting cards, and she enjoyed sports and dancing.
She is survived by her children Jonica Lynne Bufford, John Henry Bufford, III (Stephenie), and Justin Bufford; by her granddaughter LaTasha Denise Bufford; and by her siblings Bernadette E. Jones and Haywood S. Jones, Jr.
She is predeceased by her sister Christol H. Jones.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:00 am, April 29, 2023, at DeBaptiste Funeral Home, 25 S. Worthington St., West Chester, PA 19382.
Interment will be at Rolling Green Memorial Park, 1008 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382
