Warren Reid Whisonant, 66, of Maitland passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at his home. Reid was a devoted father, beloved brother and true friend. Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Reid graduated from South Mecklenburg High School and moved to Florida to start a family. He spent over 40 years in the outdoor advertising business before retiring to Maitland, FL. He was a military veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Jeniper Luther of Orlando, his sisters Sharon Whisonant and Leigh Whisonant of Winter Park, his brother Donald Whisonant of Oviedo and the “Third Graders” of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Parker Whisonant and parents Warren Henry and Betty Carolyn Grier Whisonant.
