AVIS DE DÉCÈS
Annerose Renate Ferretti
5 août , 1943 – 27 novembre , 2019
Annerose Ferretti of Brewster, MA and Ft. Myers, FL, passed away on November 27 at the age of 76, surrounded by her children and grandchildren and holding hands with her loving husband of 60 years.
She was born on August 5, 1943 in Gera-Thuragun, Germany, the younger of two children of Hermann Braun and Irene Braun. She is survived by her brother, Berndt Braun of Ansbach, Germany. Her biological father died shortly after her birth and she was raised by her mother and step-father, Eddie Heidemann an American Army officer. Annerose was a model, and was often photographed with her mother, who was also a model.
In 1958, Annerose met the love of her life, Paul Ferretti who was stationed in Germany as part of the United States military police. They soon began a 60 year love affair, marrying in 1959 and moving to Milford, MA where they went on to happily raise four children, Patrick, Angela, Mark and Gina. Annerose was a loving mother and supportive wife, making memories by planning trips and gatherings with extended family, all the while keeping everyone around her well-fed with her amazing home cooked meals.
Later in life, Annerose and Paul moved full-time to their house in Cape Cod and opened Ferretti's Market in Brewster with their son Mark and daughter-in-law Beth. Officially, Annerose was the baker, but unofficially she became the friendly face of the market – turning customers into friends and treating everyone who walked through the door like a member of her family. For over 10 years, she graced the market everyday with her smile and warmth. Annerose and Paul then transitioned to a more relaxed life, spending most of the year in Ft. Myers, FL entertaining friends and family, and enjoying the Florida weather.
Annerose was happiest when she with her growing family and was deeply loved by all who knew her. A doting “nana” to her grandchildren and great-granddaughters, she was the cherished matriarch of the family. In addition to her husband and children, Annerose is survived by her grandchildren Kristen, Ashley, Elizabeth, Christopher, Hunter and Brooke and her three great-granddaughters Lucy, Violet and Rose. She is predeceased by her grandsons James and Paul.
