Audrey Robb

Mrs. Audrey Zabriskie Robb, 80, died at her home on December 22, 2015. Audrey was married to the late Dr. George L. Robb for 52 years. She graduated from Northfield in 1953, and Wellesley College in 1957. Audrey and George raised their family in Westwood, then moved permanently to East Orleans after George retired. A loving wife and mother, Audrey was a very kind and generous spirit and had a positive influence on many people throughout her life.

She was active in the League of Women Voters, the Frontier Nursing Service, and various inner city youth and foreign exchange programs. Later in life she volunteered for The Latham Center, the Cape Cod Companion Animal Program, Snow Mobile (taking books to Seniors), in addition to several citizen science data collection efforts.

Music was one of Audrey's greatest loves; She played piano and guitar, gave piano lessons and sang; first with Esty at Northfield, then later with the Dedham Choral Society, the Chatham Chorale, and the Noteables.

Audrey is survived by her sister-in-law Meg Brown; her eldest daughter Catherine and Michael Jacobson and their two children - Samuel and Charles of Duxbury; her daughter Margaret Bartlett and her two children - Ana and Phoebe of Newport; and her son George and his wife Amy of St. Augustine.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1 pm at the Federated Church of Orleans, 162 Main Street, East Orleans, MA 02643. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Latham Center, the Companion Animal Program, the Chatham Chorale, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
