Barbara E. MacArthur

Born in Waltham, she is survived by her loving daughters Janice Rich (Martin) and Jayne Lane, and sister in law Phyllis Patriquin. She is predeceased by her husband of 68 years Douglas and her son Douglas Jr.

She had a long career in the furniture business and interior design on Cape Cod, Nantucket, Worcester and Florida. Upon retirement Barbara and Doug lived for many years in Florida, returning to Cape Cod in 2004.

Barbara enjoyed her grandchildren Fred Walters (Denise), Gregory Walters (Julia), Rebecca Livingston (Mark), Kim Fader (Myles), Kevin MacArthur (Laura), Jordan Lane, Karina Lane (Jerome), Lynissa Rich (Jonathan), Sarah Rich and Josh Rich; 16 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Barbara never missed an opportunity to be with her family. She will be deeply missed.

A funeral will be celebrated at 11 A.M. Saturday, February 4th at the Church of the Holy Spirit. Burial will be at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Friday, February 3rd at 2pm.
