I met Bernie as a Nauset Neighbor volunteer in 2018. I am so sad to hear of her passing. Bernie joined me on most of our food shopping trips to Friends Market in Orleans. When Covid hit I was happy to be able to do her shopping for her. Nauset Neighbors had to stop all volunteering out of an abundance of caution. We had many wonderful conversations that I will always cherish. I will always remember that beautiful smile and twinkle in her eyes. She will be dearly missed. My most heartfelt condolences to Bernie's family.
