

Skip was born June 18, 1939 in Fall River, MA. He was raised in Whitman, MA where he lived until he joined the Navy. Following the Navy, Skip acquired his journeyman’s electrical license at Wentworth and worked for Local 223 until he retired to Eastham, MA.
Skip was a valued member of the Orleans/Eastham Elks where he dedicated his time volunteering for the members and veterans. His kindness extended out to the community for anyone in need. Skip’s motto was to always take care of your elders and he was an exceptional, shining example of it. If Skip was your friend, he was your forever friend.
Skip loved his fishing excursions with the guys and took pride and great delight in having to buy the beer for catching the biggest fish. He enjoyed watching westerns and watching the birds in the many birdfeeders with Dee.
Skip is survived by his wife Dee of 30 years, whom he adored. Skip is also survived by his beautiful blended family with Dee, his son Dana and wife Ginger and son Jay and wife Jo-Anna, Dee’s son Andrew and wife Sharon, daughter Helen and husband Pat, son Mark, and daughter Melissa and husband JD. Skip had 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 4pm – 7pm at Nickerson’s Funeral Home in Orleans.
Burial service will be at the National Cemetery in Bourne, October 28, 2025 at 10:15am. Celebration of life will immediately follow the service at the Orleans/Eastham Elk’s in Eastham.
