

Connie was born in Manhattan on June 2, 1914, daughter of Guglielmo and Carmela Moscatelli. She married her husband, the late Carl V. Jackne, on June 6 1948 and lived in Valley Stream, New York for 27 years where they raised their two daughters, Geraldine and Christine.
Shortly after Carl’s passing in 1973, she moved to Stuart, Florida where she lived until 1999, when she moved near Geraldine in Massachusetts.
During World War II, Connie worked as one of the first woman industrial diamond cutters and was even sent to Canada to train other women. After the war, she returned to a career as a beautician where she continued until she retired in 1976.
Connie was an excellent cook, seamstress, and could do virtually anything with her hands. She loved music throughout her life.
Connie is survived by her daughter Geraldine and son-in-law Richard Emmert of Brewster, MA her daughter Christine Martinelli of Riverhead, NY and her grandsons Jonathan and Vincent Martinelli both of New York.
A private burial service will take place on Long Island.
