He grew up in Arizona, where he became a skilled architect and carpenter. He relocated to the Cape in 1986 where he continued to build and draw plans.
He loved his work, hunting, fishing, the Patriots, sometimes the Red Sox, when they weren’t pissing him off, and he was always reading a book or the paper. He was the best storyteller, and had more jokes and comments than anyone you’ll ever meet, to go along with those big blue eyes and smile of his. Most of all, he loved his family and friends and we loved him back.
Lloyd is survived by his children, his son Keith Howard and his wife Katie; his son Derek Howard and his wife Tisha; his son Harlen Howard; his son Aaron Howard; his daughter Jillian Howard; his grandchildren Ashley, Shawn, Amanda and Samantha; and his brother James Howard and his wife Mona. He is predeceased by his wife Susan Howard, and his brothers Donald and David Howard.
A celebration of his life will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at the Orleans-Eastham Elks Lodge, One McKoy Road, Eastham, MA 02651.
