Irene grew up in Watertown, MA, and graduated from Cambridge College. She loved flowers and gardening, and was the former owner and operator of the Crossroads Flower Shop in Brewster for many years. Irene is survived by her husband James Fowler; three daughters Elizabeth Robinson of Hudson, NH; Christine Fowler of Hudson, MA; Susan Renkainen of Brewster, MA; a son Steven Fowler of Scottsdale, NY; and ten grandchildren.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans, on Saturday, October 24, from 1-4 p.m.
