Jennifer A. Young

Jennifer A. Young, 38, of Yarmouth, MA died on December 21, 2016 at Cape Cod Hospital. Born in Chambersburg, PA in 1978, she spent the first years of her life growing up on a dairy farm. She moved to Eastham, MA in 1986 and graduated from Nauset High School in 1996. After high school, Jen worked at some of the best restaurants on the Cape. Jen loved her work and made countless customers into friends. She was an avid reader and loved nothing more than a day at the beach. Jen was a passionate traveler. She felt the most at home in tropical paradises. Her favorite vacation spots included Turks and Caicos Islands and Jamaica where she consumed her time soaking up sun at the beach and dancing and singing the night away. Jen was a warm and loving soul who brought joy to others through laughter and long days and nights of fun. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed and in our hearts forever.

Jen leaves behind her mother, Candy Young of Eastham, MA, her father, John Young, III with his wife Roseanne Young of Hagerstown, MD, her sister Cara Young with her husband Joe Silvestro of Holliston, MA, her brother, John Young, IV with his wife Dawn Young of Norwell, MA, her three nieces, Kelsey Young with her husband Daniel DeAndrade, Cooper Young and Parker Young, her aunt Karen Chase and uncle William Chase of Brewster, MA, her cousins Chris Chase with his wife Victoria Chase and Kelly Chase, and her aunt Melissa Young of Middlesex, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in her memory on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 3-6 pm, with a service beginning at 5:30 pm at Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans. Burial will be private.
