Joan was born, July 30, 1949, in New Britain, CT, the daughter of the late Ernest and Sophie (Pawlukiewicz) Neurath. She was raised in Rocky Hill, CT and was a graduate of Rocky Hill High School. Joan graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Connecticut. She was a gifted sculptor specializing in pottery work. Joan loved antiques and was an accomplished antiques dealer for several years. She enjoyed her second home on Cape Cod where she loved the beach, her beloved cats and time in the garden.
Joan is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Stephen F. Hennessey. She will be dearly remembered and missed.
