He was born to Leo and Winnifrede on November 23, 1947, in Somerville, MA. He is survived by his mother Winnifrede of Orleans, his son Aaron Langlais of San Diego, and his three siblings: Sandra Ritchie of Brewster; Christine Wilson of Woburn; and David Langlais of Rockland.
"Lenny" was a Army veteran, semi-retired carpenter and life long resident of Orleans. He worked his summers at Nauset Beach. He loved the beach and sense of community it brought. Lenny was loved by all that met him.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project.
A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 1st at Nickerson Funeral Home.
