

Marion E. Dwyer, 95, of Southborough, MA, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2014 at Epoch of Brewster. Marion was born in Queens, NY in 1919, the daughter of Patrick and Agnes (Ryan) O’Dwyer. She graduated from Hunter College in New York. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, James F. Dwyer. Marion and James lived in Mountainside NJ, where they raised four children before they retired to Venice, Florida where they lived for twenty years.
Marion is survived by her children, Patricia Dwyer of Maynard and Orleans, James Dwyer and his wife Candace currently of Singapore, Alanna Dwyer of Southborough and Orleans, and Gerard Dwyer of Burlington MA, as well as four grandchildren: Meghan, Nathan, Aidan and Sophia Dwyer. She was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Raby and her brothers Maurice, Joseph, and William O’Dwyer.
Marion was a loving mother and friend, and enjoyed life, family, traveling, and laughter. She was an accomplished seamstress, completing countless projects for her family and friends. Over the years she worked as a bookkeeper and a teacher, but primarily was a wife and mother. Marion was always amazingly full of energy and blessed with a remarkable spirit for life. She will be sorely missed by her family.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Church, Orleans, MA, Monday December 29, 2014 at 11 a.m., preceded by a visiting hour at Nickerson Funeral Home, Orleans, MA at 9:30 a.m.
