She leaves behind her two adoring daughters: Joanne Patterson of Orleans and her husband Don, and Susan Maloney of Bristol, RI and her husband Peter.

She is also cherished by her two granddaughters Suzan Wollard of NY, NY and her husband Scott and Lisa Farley of Charlotte, NC and her husband Kevin.

She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren who called her “GG” - Kayla, Amanda, Megan, Amy, Tim and Ryan.

She will be most remembered by her family and friends as one who always had a huge smile, abundant kindness, a helping hand to all, a sense of patriotism, an awe of nature and love of animals, a sense of adventure, an independent spirit and absolute loyalty to her family.

Visitation with the family will be held at Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 4PM to 6PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 10:00AM at St. Joan of Arc in Orleans. The mass will be followed by a reception for all family and friends at the home of her daughter at 47 Tar Kiln Road in Orleans.
