Martha J. Verdina

Martha "Mardee" Verdina,78, of East Orleans, Ma, passed away, Saturday, August 30,2025, at Cape Cod Hospital. She was the loving wife of Victor Verdina. Martha was born in Helena, Montana, February 18, 1947, the daughter of the late Richard and Vermil Wilkinson . She was raised in Helena Montana and attended local school there.

Martha was a graduate of Montana State University in Bozeman,Montana.She was briefly employed as a teacher in Colorado. She was a part owner and operator of the Seaside Village Motel in North Truro on Beach Point a few miles outside of Provincetown. Martha ran and owned the Motel with her husband Victor for 34 years.Her and her husband moved to Orleans in 2000 because she loved the quaint little village atmosphere.Martha loved working daily in her yard with all her beautiful flowers and where she had one of the most extensive collections of Hosta's on Cape Cod. She also enjoyed working in her garden,making jewelry and playing golf.She will be dearly missed by all those who have had the pleasure of knowing her.

Martha is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years,Victor Verdina. She also leaves behind a sister, Adela Seitz, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October, 20th at 11am at Nickerson Funeral Home,77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA 02653

The burial will take place at a late date.
