Priscilla Laura Littlefield was born on July 16, 1932 in Englewood, New Jersey to Helen Beatrice Parker Littlefield and Charles Connon Littlefield of Haworth New Jersey. Priscilla was raised in Haworth where she attended Haworth Public Schools, Tenafly HS, and then went on to attend Marysville College in Tennessee. She returned to New Jersey and secured a position in the secretarial pool at Texas Gulf Sulphur Company (later Texasgulf) headquartered on the 56th Floor of what was then the Pan Am building. She worked her way up from the secretarial pool to Executive Secretary to both the company president and the chairman of the board. Elf Aquitaine acquired Texasgulf in 1981 and moved the company headquarters to Stamford, CT which prompted her to relocate there. She retired when the company decided to move their headquarters back to New York City.
After several moves, Priscilla and her longtime best friend Eileen O’Connor both retired and bought homes on Cape Cod (MA). She loved the Cape and enjoyed painting, kayaking, rug hooking, the many lovely beaches, and visits from friends and family.
Priscilla was predeceased by both her parents, her brother Charles Connon Littlefield and brother Parker Littlefield. She is survived by her nieces Connie Lewis (Nick), Nancy J. Littlefield (Roy), Joyce Littlefield Stevenson, and nephews Daniel Littlefield (Lillian), Thomas Littlefield (Sarah), and Parker Littlefield.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. She is to be in interred at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington, New Hampshire.
