EASTHAM – Rita (L’Abbέ) Phillips died peacefully at home on July 14, 2011 after a short battle with cancer.
She worked for Mid Cape Center for many years and enjoyed crafting, reading and doing crosswords.
She was predeceased by her husband John and her son Glenn. She is survived by a daughter, Sue and her husband Glenn Ashley; two grandsons, Matthew and Timothy Joy, both of Holyoke, MA; three granddaughters, Lynn of Hamden, CT, Melissa of Wethersfield, CT, and Stephanie of Hamden, CT, and five great-grandchildren; she also leaves several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private service at a later date for the family.
