Susan Menard

Brewster, MA- Susan Menard died at home on Monday, February 13, 2012 in the

comfort of her family and dear friends. A daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend to

many in Brewster, Vail CO and Punta de Mita, Mexico she loved boating, fishing,

bird watching, snow-shoeing and the quiet pursuits found outdoors in nature........and the Red Sox. After a varied career in business on the Cape for 30 years for the last ten years she brought her expert skills to Orleans Cycle where she and her husband succeeded happily at working as a team and built many great relationships with their

customers.

She was the wife of Tom Menard of Brewster, proud mother of Annie R. Skarupa and her husband John W. Skarupa of Eastham, loving daughter of Therese Perkins of Brewster, sister of Joanne Burns and brother-in-law Jay Harrington of Orleans. She is also survived by her wonderful step-daughters Rebecca and Mia Menard and their children Lola (3), Daisy (2) and Cooper (6 mo). Her family wishes to thank the nurses, doctors and support team who cared for her so well at the Davenport Mugar Cancer Center and Cape Cod Hospital and Jane, Lynn, Betty and Mary of VNA Hospice who made her journey more comfortable.

A celebration of Susie’s life will take place in the Spring and will be noted in this paper.
