

Born in Beverly, MA on March 15, 1939, he leaves behind his partner of 36 years, Abbie L. Clark also of Eastham, MA. His sister, Ellie Caulfield of Columbia, South Carolina also survives him. In addition, he leaves behind his two daughters, Pamela Murphy and her husband John Murphy, and Donna Foley, all of Hyannis, MA as well as his grandchildren Kathleen, Kaitlyn, Thomas, and Timothy Murphy, and his great-granddaughter Bailey Mae Murphy.
He was pre-deceased by his mother, Elsie (Johnson) Foley and his father, Thomas L. Foley, Sr.
Tom worked for the Massachusetts Department of Public Works for 43 years. Tom also served in the Air Force as a jet plane mechanic in France. He was a member of the Eastham Fire Department and belonged to the Nauset Rod and Gun Club.
Tom spent as much time as possible in the outdoors as he loved the sports of fishing, hunting, clamming, and motorcycling. He owned a cabin in West Milan, NH where he enjoyed his time in the woods. He and Abbie also owned a fishing boat, The Abigail, on which they spent many enjoyable hours out on the waters of Cape Cod. His cat, Tony, misses his master greatly.
Visiting hours will held be on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA 02653 from 1 PM to 3 PM. A private family burial will be held at a date to be determined.
