Happy Birthday in Heaven, my friend!  I think of you often and hope that you have found peace.  Much love.  You were an important person in my life and I miss you!

I wish I had known...

Troy was a fierce friend with a personality to match. Having known him for over twenty years, he always brought a smile to my face and now a true ache to my heart. Miss you my gallant knight. May God continue to watch over you and shine your tarnished halo. 

The Gallant family and Kim all have my deepest sympathy. 

My deepest Condolences to the entire Gallant family I just found out. Troy had a big heart and will always have a special place in my heart.

Understanding the hole left behind, regardless the inevitability or forewarning, pray this helps some wee bit...to allow...enablethe grief, which is a sad, but necessary part of loss! Too, however, it is a measure of the loving impact this life had on yours. Trust that now he's at peace with our Lorddefinitely keepin' y'all in my prayers!

 When my mother died, even after a years-long battle with cancer, I was shattered by the lossinconsolableshe was my mentor! I like to think that I got my character from my father, but my mind and its capacity from m'dear sainted mother!!! BUT, "If your faith assures you she's in heaven, then what are the tears all about?!?" I hold eternity dearly close...a cherished, hard-won prize...but, in the interim, that answer lies below.

SELFISH TEARS
(I Eulogize My Beloved Mother - March, 1989)

Today we cry...must admit they're selfish tears.
You see...our faith assures your journey's done.
But it's not for you we mourn, at all, my dear;
It's for those of us you've left behind...alone!!!

We share your joy...share your happiness at rest,
Your painful fears now for forever stilled.
You've fought the good fight, passed the final test,
But you've left behind a hole that can't be filled!!!

So, until we each rejoin you some someday,
And, while your memory buoys us through those years,
We'll miss you...but continue on our way,
And, from time to time, we'll cry our selfish tears!!!

My  sincerest condolences and prayers,

To all of Troy's family and friends. Sorry for your loss, I only knew troy for a short time, but he made me and many others lives better.

Troy was a good friend who would do anything to help others. One of his working family brought me his kind, respectful thoughts yesterday. I reminded him, and those who knew him, that Troy was the best employee that our school had ever known.
My family just inquired about him last week, and remember him fondly.  In the past month, having lost my mother, and being with my father today, Troy's passing strengthens my sympathy for his brother, sisters and Kim.  We shared strong bonds with our fathers and families.
God chooses the time for his children to return, and is never wrong.  God bless his loved ones, and I will continue to pray for him.

I only recently had the pleasure of getting to know Troy through working with him at Khouri's Oriental Rug Company. It was a genuine pleasure to have gotten to know him and he always had a smile on his face and good things to say about everyone there. I am very sorry for Kim's and the family's loss. I wish I could have known him longer and I will miss his smile and his wit.

I had the pleasure of working with Troy at Khouris Oriental Rugs. I only knew him for a short period of time, but I enjoyed talking with him. May you find strength and comfort in knowing he will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss.May he find eternal peace.

To Kim and all of Troy's family:   So sorry to hear of Troy's passing.  Although I had not seen him in many years, he was a good friend and he will be missed.
