Angela J. Ortolani, age 76, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. John Ortolani, with whom she shared a beautiful and enduring bond; parents, Aldo and Anne Costa
Angela leaves behind her two cherished daughters, Joan Ortolani and Alysia Keith; her treasured grandchildren, Katherine Ortolani, Alexander Ortolani, and Dylan Keith; and a loving circle of extended family and dear friends who were blessed to know her.
To her family, Angela was the heart of the home—the quiet strength, the constant presence, the one who always made others feel safe and loved. Her grandchildren brought her endless joy and filled her days with laughter. She delighted in their company and cherished every moment spent watching them grow.
Angela had a gentle love for animals and a special tenderness for small children. She found joy in simple things—baking for those she loved (her apple pie was unmatched), attending musical theatre, and traveling to the New York area to visit her mother and siblings. These trips were deeply meaningful to her, as they connected her to her roots and the family she held so dear.
A woman of deep loyalty and quiet determination, Angela lived with grace, compassion, and an open heart. She touched many lives simply by caring—with a word, a gesture, or her steady presence. Her legacy is one of devotion, selflessness, and a fierce love for her family. She taught us—by example—what it means to live a good life.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 12, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home. All who knew and loved Angela are welcome to join in honoring her memory.
Angela will be remembered always, and missed beyond measure.
