Anje Anne Anneke Dykstra

A funeral service for Anje “Anne/Anneke” Dykstra, who passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011, will be 1:00 PM at Christ Presbyterian Church, 1035 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL on Thursday, November 10, 2011, with the Reverend Polly Deppen as the officiant. The interment will be at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL immediately following the service.

Mrs. Dykstra was born in the Netherlands and moved to Ormond Beach in 1994 from New Jersey. She was a homemaker and while in her 40's she received degrees in Nursing, Bachelor of Arts in History, Education and Philosophy from Douglas College. She received her Masters Degree in Philosophy of Education from Rutger's University. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Ormond Beach, FL. She loved painting artwork, piano and knitting. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Cor and Wim.

Mrs. Dykstra leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband for 59 and a 1/2 years, Jan; six loving children, Jack, Elisabeth, Annette, Hilary John, Yvonne and Paul; siblings, Laurens, Jan, Peter, Bert, Ineke, Hildelies, Koos and Eddy; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. Arrangements are under the care and trust of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, FL.
