Barry was a decorated Sargent in the U.S. Army a well as a member of the Ironworkers Local 417, 40 in New York City and a Foreman for Besco Steel Erectors, working on the World Trade Center and the Lipstick Building at 53rd & 3rd. Barry was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
Barry is preceded in death by his father Percy P. Card Sr.. His surviving family members include:
His wife of 27 years Rosemarie V. Card (Bormann); His mother Evelyn Card and his sister Arilla Card.
His children: Bari Engel, Jonas Card, Natalie Huber, and step children April Price, and Michele Capek, and 7 grand children.
