

Catskill, NY, to the late Byron, Sr. and Edna June. She later met her husband of 55 years,
August Beck, Jr., in New Jersey where they lived until they, along with their three boys, moved
to Daytona Beach, Florida. The family later moved to Holly Hill and that is where she and her
husband resided for the remainder of their lives.
After raising her three sons, she went to work at Dunn Lumber and Supply in Daytona Beach, where she worked as a secretary for many years. After she retired from there, she enjoyed the time she had to spend in her yard, gardening and raising beautiful flowers and plants. She also enjoyed other hobbies as well as spending time with her family. She led a very active life and was involved in her church, various clubs/organizations, and other social activities. She and her husband spent a lot of time together riding motorcycles, dancing and having fun with friends. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and camping with her husband, friends and family as well.
She was preceded in death by her husband, August Beck, Jr., her sister Mildred Appel and her
brothers Byron June, Jr. and Roger June. Betty is survived by her sons: Kerry Beck (Kathy), Port Orange, Brian Beck and Daryl Beck, both of Holly Hill, her grandchildren: Cindy Reddish, Collins, GA, Brian Beck and Michelle Beck, both of Port Orange, her great-grandchildren: Travis Reddish and Kasey Reddish both of Collins, GA, Kalum Beck, Jayden Beck, Ashley Beck, Cameron Lowe-Beck and Alec Milan all of
Port Orange, siblings: sister Lorraine McConnell Larsen, New Jersey and Don June, Colorado.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
