Brian L. Vecchia

Brian L Vecchia, age 46, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Brian was born on March 13, 1977, in Edgewood, New Jersey, and was raised in Livingston, New Jersey. Brian is survived by his loving parents, Rosemarie and Louis Vecchia of Daytona Beach, Florida; his partner of 20 years, Pattie Taylor of Ormond Beach, Florida; and her children Meghan Jeffries of Fostoria, Ohio, and Jacob Taylor of Ormond Beach, Florida whom he loved as his own.

Brian was a fun-loving character who never met stranger in his life and had friends all over the world. He was an adventure seeker and enjoyed seeing new places and sights. He was an avid fan and follower of the Grateful Dead and attended over 50 of their shows. Brian especially enjoyed fishing in the Florida Keys with his father whenever they had the chance. Brian was an animal lover and throughout his life adored his pets that included cats, birds and dogs.

Brian will be dearly missed by his entire family.

Services for Brian will be Friday, March 22, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange, Fl. Following Mass, Brain will be inurned at Volusia Memorial Park in Ormond Beach at 10:30 a.m.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Brian's memory to the American Cancer Society.
