Charles L Gray

Charles Lee Gray, age 74, born October 14, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on June 16, 2012 at Halifax Health Hospice after a brief illness. He attended Anderson College in Indiana and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in June of 1963. He worked in Columbus as a Social Worker for many years. He then moved to Florida in the mid 1970’s and worked as a Social Worker in Daytona until retirement. He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years Rosella Gray; his son Chaz Gray; his 2 daughters Cindy Horner (Mike) and Cherie Schrolucke; his 2 brothers Floyd Gray (Linda) Ormond Beach and Bill Gray (Pat) Leesburg; 3 sisters Joan Justice (Ken) OH, Linda Wilson (Larry) Sarrasota, Kay Griffith (Glen) OH; and his 5 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made to Halifax Health Hospice or Halifax Humane Society. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 23rd at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
