Claudia M. Wall

Claudia M. Wall, age 78, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 23, 2016. She was born August 11, 1937 to the late Warren and Mabel Carlson in Indianapolis, IN. She married Paul Wall in 1999 and was married 16 years. Claudia worked as a school secretary for 30 years at Tomoka Elementary in Ormond Beach and was a member of the Tomoka Elementary Retirees Assoc. Claudia was involved in the Ormond community and enjoyed volunteering her time and helping others. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #3800, Secretary for the Tomoka View & Tanglewood Civic Association. Claudia was also a founding Member of Christ (United) Presbyterian Church, Ormond Beach where she taught Sunday School. Claudia coached Softball and was involved in scouting as a Cub Scout Leader. In her spare time she enjoyed Gardening, Traveling, Family, Water Aerobics and playing Bridge. Claudia and Paul enjoyed the mountains, escaping the hot weather and neighbors in thier cabin in Blairsville, GA. Claudia will be missed dearly by so many friends and extended family. Claudia is survived by her loving husband Paul of 16 years, son; Thomas Wesley Evans (Tracey), Ormond Beach, FL, daughters; Karen L. Evans Roberts, Orange City, FL, Kathy M. Evans, Daytona Beach, FL, Kimberly A. Funte (Todd), McDonough, GA, Step-daughter Brenda Sue Wall, Greenville, SC, Brothers; Mike Carlson, John Dorwin and Howard Cole, sister Harriet Masterson, grandchildren; Michael, Chris, Josh, Breanne, Shawn and Catherine, also left to cherish her memory are 3 great grandchildren; Austin, Grayson and Mason. A visitation will be held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. March 26, 2016.
