Emil was truly a one-of-a-kind person. Kind is not an adequate word to describe the joys which Emil brought to my life in the short time I was blessed by his friendship. I cherished our fellowship each weekend at our favorite breakfast spot and I know I am certainly not alone in that sentiment. He is sorely missed and I wish his family peace and comfort at this difficult time.

My family and I have been  blessed to know Emil for about 20 years.  For most of those years we shared a wonderful breakfast group, made up of many remarkable people from our town.    Emil made every one of us feel special and valued.   He was above all, generous. He was a master storyteller, a knowledgeable sports fan, a loving father and husband, and he was my friend.    I loved him dearly.   I will never forget the many kindnesses he showed to our son.  I thank God for the many times we shared and I hope someday to see him again. 

Emil always had a smile on his face and would greet me like a brother.  He was kind, funny.  God bless him and his family and give them strength.
