in Geneva, Ohio. He was employed by Nestle Chocolate Company in Fulton, NY, and served in the United States Army Signal Corps
During WWII. He was employed by Eastern Airlines until his retirement in 1986.Mr. and Mrs. Brett have been residing in Holly Hill, Florida, since 1967 and members of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Moose. He was heavily involved in the Boy Scouts of America. He is predeceased by his parents, brother and sister. He is survived by his wife, Vicky Brett, daughters Claudia Strom (Michael) of Dothan, AL, and Jeri Fisher (Bill) of Palm Coast, and son Fred R. Brett (Debi), of Atlanta, GA., nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 26, 2010.
