James O. Roberson, 84, passed away on October 14, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 2, 1928 in Jesup, GA to Phillip and Eva Roberson. James proudly served his country in the Army. He started Roberson Roofing in 1967, a business that is still operating today. He is survived by his wife Patricia, his six sons Rick, James A., Doug, Dale, Don, and Larry, stepdaughters Cindy and Debra, sister Janice Baker, grandchildren Ryan, Brendan, Eric, Ricky, Jason, Justin, Brandon, Chad, Kenneth James (Beau), Jennifer, Wendy, Michelle, Mitchel, and Michael, ten great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and countless friends. He was a member of Riverbend Community Church since October 14th, 2007. A memorial service will be held 4:00PM Friday October 19, 2012 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Riverbend Community Church or Hospice of Volusia/Flagler.
