Janet Richetti

Janet Angelina Richetti 04/06/1956-08/30/2012. Janet was born in Philadelphia, PA to Frank and Caroline Richetti. She also lived in NJ before settling in Daytona Beach. Janet loved this area, and was so happy when she arrived that she “kissed the beach”. Janet loved dancing and music, especially going to see her friend LeRoy play R&B with her best friend Sandra. Janet was best known as a hardworking, energetic, fun loving person who was especially fond of animals, and a rescuer of animals in need. Janet worked for Volusia County Health Department for over 20 years and spent many years as a Sunday school teacher. She is survived by her mother Caroline, sister Michelle, children Marc, Janel and Maria (Ben), grandchildren Isabella, Angelica, Zachary, Tyler, Desire and Juliana, nephew Michael, dear friend Sandra and many friends and co-workers.

A memorial service will be held 4:00PM Friday September 7, 2012 at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
