Jennifer was born in Miami on January 30, 1962. She was a kind and loving person as well as an accomplished equestrian having competed in many riding events. Jennifer attended Carrolton-The Convent of the Sacred Heart in Coconut Grove, FL for many years. She graduated from St. Brendan’s Catholic High School. Jennifer attended the University of Florida and Graduated from St. Leo University. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. She primarily helped abused and neglected children, heading a child protection team for three counties. Jennifer was also a Contract Administrator for the State of Florida.
Jennifer is survived by her mother Elizabeth Buckley Canalizo, her brother Dr. John Canalizo, nephew Jonathan Canalizo and niece Christina Canalizo.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for today December 12, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Ormond Beach. An entombment will follow the mass at Volusia Memorial Park, located at 550 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
