Joan P Schroeder

Joan P Schroeder passed away peacefully on December 26 with her family by her side. Joan was born and raised in Lakewood, Ohio to the late Carmen and Mary Pugliese. She had a successful career as a teacher, business woman and real estate agent; however it was when she and Bob moved from Chicago to Ormond Beach in 1982 that she found her true passion. Always a shopper and fashionista she opened Jorian’s Boutique which she successfully ran for 15 years. Joan is survived by her loving husband of almost 39 years, Robert E. Schroeder. She was a dear stepmother to Mary (Kevin) Overstreet and their daughter Lindsey. She was the cherished sister of Mimi Rocca (Robert Gettman) and dear aunt of William Rocca Jr. (Stacey), Michael Rocca (Allison) and Kristen Lazio (Frank). She is also survived by six grandnieces and nephews, Gia, Will, Eliza, Nico, Luca and Ella. She will be missed dearly by her brother in law Thomas Schroeder (Carol) and their family. She was a kind, gentle and loving cousin and friend to many.
