John C. Walsh, 52, of Ormond Beach, fought the last of his lifelong battle with epilepsy on Thursday, September 29, 2011. John was born in Yonkers, New York, and was raised in Ormond Beach, Florida. He was employed by the Ormond Beach Wal-Mart and was an avid pool player. He was predeceased by his father, John W. Walsh and is survived by his mother, Lillian C. Walsh, brothers Robert J. (Gwen) of Ormond Beach, William (Linda) of Daytona Beach, and his nephew and niece Preston and Delaney Walsh of Ormond Beach and step-brother, David Munzinger (April) of Michigan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 336 South Halifax Drive, Ormond Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Duvall Home (Glenwood, Florida), the Epilepsy Foundation, or a favorite charity.
