My heart breaks for you with the loss of Lana.  She was such a little light of hope and optimism, and so brave and courageous.  No one should be asked to suffer so.
And I know how much energy and hope and love you gave her and poured into her every need,  and how hard everyone tried to sustain her and preserve her for wonderful and happy life.
I have been searching my mind and heart for some good in this tragic story; and it is this.She was here for a short while, but she radiated goodness an sweetness and and bravery and perfection during her very consequential life. And she inspired all of us with her courage and sweetness; and you inspired us with your devotion and your optimism.  Her life was so very short, but it was a burst of inspiration and sunlight.  We should be grateful for the very brief time she was with us.
No words I can say can possibly beguile you from your grief.  But I admire you beyond my ability to tell you.  I am so proud of you both.  I hope and pray that the memory of Lana's goodness will help sustain you and fill your lives with inspiration and a goal we can all emulate.
