Linda (Iannacone) Killingsworth was born on September 13, 1951, in Miami, Florida. It is with great sadness that we lost our dear Linda on January 4, 2025, leaving behind a wonderful legacy of love, kindness, and generosity to all her family and friends. She was a loving daughter to the late Domenic and Elena Iannacone, sister to Marie (Paul) Macdonald and David (Penny) Iannacone, and aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Linda was a very strong woman, a fighter, and an advocate for many, who was always ready to lend a hand, pamper a friend or care for those with needs. She was independent, warm-hearted, and a loyal friend to many who cherished her. She valued her relationships deeply and was a constant source of support, encouragement, and joy to those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was willing to do just about anything for a friend, no matter how much effort it took, or how much it cost.
Pickleball was a passion for Linda, playing with anyone, anywhere, and making friends in the process. As a long-time member of Pictona in Holly Hill, she actively participated in both Pickleball and the Garden Club. She also enjoyed her downtime, often reading books out on her deck or watching movies.
Linda's life was a testament to the beauty of compassion and the importance of cherishing each moment. Her memory will forever be a source of inspiration to all who had the privilege of sharing in her journey. Linda will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
On Monday, January 27, 2025, at 10:30 am, a simple graveside service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held with family and friends at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N Nova Rd. Ormond Beach, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to American Cancer Society, Making Strides of Volusia-Flagler https://secure.acsevents.org/site/SPageServer?pagename=strides_donate_now&FR_ID=108683
