

Lois B. Langley, 93, of Ormond Beach, peacefully passed away on August 4, 2021. She was a native of West Virginia before moving to Ormond Beach in 1954. Lois was a homemaker, a member of Tomoka United Methodist Church for many years where she sang in the choir, lead an adult Sunday School class, and was a member of The Tomoka United Methodist Women; and she was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood Chapter CU for 50 years. She lived a long, happy, and busy life, but she knew the only thing that counted was that Jesus had saved her, she quoted the following scripture from Romans 8:39: “…nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Mrs. Langley was preceded in death by her parents John B. and Lina Friend, her husbands, Earl L. Miller and J. Edward Langley, and great-granddaughter Lana Miller. She is survived by her sister June R. Hughes and nephews Steven Hughes (Patti) and Jeff Hughes, grandnephews Michael Hughes, David Hughes and Jeffrey Hughes; she is survived by her three children Earl Rodney Miller (Mary), Lois Ann Towey (Richard) and Joan Lee Royal (Hugh), stepson Jay Langley (Carolyn) of Winston, Georgia, and stepdaughter Martha Ankeny of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; her six grandchildren Lindsay Ventura (Nick), Mark Miller (Allison), Christopher Miller (Amy), Melissa Cleveland (Joe), Keith Royal (Yuumi) and Melinda Bowlby (Ryan), three step-grandchildren Angela Grayson (Lee), Johnathan Langley (Gina) and Kayla Ankeny Allamou (Marouane); and ten great-grandchildren Olivia Ventura, Nathan Ventura, Avery Miller, Wyatt Miller, Peyton Miller, Brayden Miller, Laila Miller, Donald Andrew “Drew” Cleveland, Karsten Royal and Lilia Royal; and six step great-grandchildren Bailey Grayson, Caleb Grayson, Avery Grayson, Julia Langley, Basaam Allamou and Zahn Allamou.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Tomoka United Methodist Church, 1000 Old Tomoka Road, Ormond Beach, Florida, 32174.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tomoka United Methodist Church, Halifax Urban Ministries (HUM) or Family Renew Community. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Florida.
