

Funeral Service for Mary Gray Victor Crews, an Ormond Beach resident who died Wednesday May 25, 2011 will be 2pm Saturday May 28 at the chapel of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach. Interment will follow at Shady Rest Cemetery in Holly Hill. Visitation will be Friday May 27 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach from 5pm-7pm. Mary was born May 8, 1917 in Johnstown, PA and moved to the Daytona Beach area in 1949. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, reading, and homemaking. She attended Tomoka United Methodist Church and Tomoka Christian Church. Mrs. Crews was a member of Order of Eastern Star #1, Ormond Beach Garden Club, Ormond Memorial Auxiliary, was a volunteer at Ormond Public library, and delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. Mrs. Crews is survived by a sister, Dolly Danilov, Copley, OH; a brother, Harry Gray, Canton, OH; a daughter, Audrey Bershaw (Burton), Macon, GA, son, David Victor (Joyce), Ormond Beach, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and her extended family, Denton Crews (Kathy), Boston, MA; Carolyn Dickens,(Chuck), Ormond Beach and Randolph Crews (Shirley), New Smyrna Beach. She was predeceased by her husband of 19 years, Leerie Crews and her first husband, of 44 years, George Victor. Donations can be made in Mrs. Crew’s memory to a charity of your choice.
