Muriel Hull Pearce

A celebration of life for Muriel Edythe Hull Pearce, 84, who went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2010 at her home in Ormond Beach, Fl, surrounded by loving family, will be 11:00 am on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Christ Presbyterian Church, 1035 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, with the Reverend Polly Deppen as the celebrant.

Mrs. Pearce was born in Newark, New Jersey. She was a Bookkeeper for Howard Johnson’s Corporate Offices in Miami, FL. She moved to Daytona Beach in 1958 and worked as a unit secretary for Halifax Hospital Medical Center.

Former member of Highlands Presbyterian Church and currently a member of Christ Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Usher Committee and Stretch and Flex group.

Predeceased by husband of 58 years, Bob Pearce, sister, Elizabeth Hull Lowe, and nephew, Virgil S. Lowe.

Mrs. Pearce leaves behind to cherish her memory, 4 children; Donna (Bill) Partington, Ormond Beach; Deborah Brown, Gainesville; Robert J. Pearce Jr., Daytona Beach, Beth (Ed) Shumaker, Ormond Beach; 3 grandchildren, William

Partington III, Ormond Beach, Dawn Partington Billings, Orange City, and Kathryn Brown, Gainesville; 8 great grandchildren.
