Ricardo T. Ignacio

Born in Manila, Philippines on November 9, 1937 and passed away on July 22,2014 after a short hospital stay at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center. He graduated from FEATI UNIVERSITY with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. Worked with the Manila Electric Company as an Electrical Engineer until he moved to USA in 1974. Retired from Georgia Power Company where he worked at two nuclear plants, Plant Hatch and Plant Vogtle in Baxley and Waynesboro, Georgia as an Electrical Engineer. He did also consulting work for Bechtel Corporation after his retirement from Georgia Power Company. He is survived by his loving wife Susan, a son, Emmanuel, daughter in law Dolores, and twin Grand kids, Angela and Ricardo, who he loves very much. Also he is survived by his sisters, Gloria, Corazon, Josephine, and Norma in Manila, Philippines. He wants to be remembered as a loving and caring person who loves sports, favoring baseball, basketball, bowling and fishing. He and his wife love singing karaoke at the Ormond Beach ELKS Club. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus of Prince of Peace Council 8791. He is a very dedicated volunteer of the LIKE NEW SHOP of PRINCE OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH. Donations may be made to the Social Services Dept. of PRINCE OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH. Thank you. Funeral Service will be on FRIDAY, JULY 25 at 11:00 A.M. at the PRINCE OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH OFF NOVA RD, ORMOND BEACH. Reception in the Social Hall follows the mass.
