Robert “Bob” Louis Baldwin, Jr., 54, passed away on January 31, 2017. A native of Daytona Beach, Robert was born January 7, 1963 to Robert Louis, Sr. and the late Catherine Baldwin. He graduated from Enka High School, 1981, Enka Candler, NC where he played football and track and field as a pole vaulter. He enjoyed NASCAR all his life. Robert drove a race car in his earlier years, which he and his father built and raced together. Robert traveled all over the country working as a Union Lineman.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother Catherine Baldwin. Robert is survived by his father, Robert Louis Baldwin, Sr.; daughters Hollie Davis, NC and Skylar Baldwin, NC; brothers, Harry Sperry (Bunny), FL, Joe Simmons (Brenda), GA and George Simmons, FL; sister, Debbie Sperry Berg, FL. Also left to cherish are his many nephews, aunts and uncles and friends.
