Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, Bob shared his life with his devoted wife, Judy. Married for 61 years, together they raised three children—Danielle, Denise, and Kristen, who preceded him in death in 2012. He was also blessed with two sons-in-law, Andrew and Shawn, who became part of his family and shared in many of life’s joys. Bob was a proud grandfather to Lisa, Tori, Mary, Stephen, Kayla, and Zoe, and a great-grandfather to Henley, each of whom brought him great joy. Bob was preceded in death by brother, Wayne Hill, parents, Frank and Julia Hill.
Bob dedicated 34 years of his career to General Electric in Lynn, Massachusetts, where he worked with emerging technology and then management. Outside of work, he found his greatest happiness in pursuing his passions. He loved the freedom of the open road on his Harley and was an avid woodworker. His craftsmanship lives on in the beautiful pieces he created for family and friends—each one a reflection of his creativity, patience, and love.
Most importantly, Bob’s life was grounded in his faith in Jesus Christ, which he joyfully shared through his music ministry, New Horizon. His faith shaped the way he lived, loved, and served others, leaving an eternal legacy for his family and all who knew him.
Those who knew Bob will remember his steady presence, his devotion to family, and his willingness to help anyone in need. His life was a testament to hard work, love, faith, and the joy found in simple pleasures.
He will be deeply missed by his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor at Calvary Bible Church located at 145 Hampstead Road in Derry, New Hampshire, on Saturday, October 25, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, the ministry of Franklin Graham, in Bob's memory.
