Roberta was born in Binghamton, NY, on May 10, 1934. After completing high school in 1952, Roberta attended Buffalo State College. In 1956 she received her degree in Special Education and soon after married her husband of 58 years, Bob. Roberta spent her early years of her marriage raising their 3 children. She then began teaching children in Amherst, NY, and continued in Holly Hill, FL, after she and Bob moved to FL. She continued sharing her knowledge of teaching as the owner of The Apple Tree Educational Center in Holly Hill for 27 years.
Roberta is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Kennedy, Deborah (Mike) Burton; her son, Robert (Lani) Uhl: nine grandchildren, Brooks, Shane (Alysha), Meaghan, Rebecca(Dylan), Aubree, Kylie (Sam), Michael, Nikolas, and Camden; two great granddaughters, Mackenzie and Amelia; her brother, her sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son-in-law.
